This is Where DrHanzonScience Plays his Guitar for You - Musicians are Uniting to Move the World into a Cool Furute
What makes good Music?
This website showcases a few of my songs. I like story songs, or ballads, and love songs.  Love songs deal with the story of how two people, meet, and play out their relatinahip over time.  Although I'm 72, I still have a lot of enegy for doing loving things, and I try to embrace that in my lyrics.  To last, a song needs a fascinating rhythm, a tune people can hum, whistle, and name easily.  It needs good chordsthat express what the words are saying, and issues like love, fairness, freedom, and fear that give the song the power to move the listener's feelings and propel the action through a series of changes and events to a satisfying conclusion..

I'm a songwriter and singer from New Iberia, Louisiana.  I started teaching at St  Mike's High School, Santa Fe, NM, in 1959, and spent an interesting 50 years teaching in middle and high schools, colleges and universities.

I taught in Santa Fe 3 years, Metairie (New Orleans area) 4 years, Santa Fe 2 years, New York City 3 years,Schweinfurt, Heidelberg, and Ansbach Germany for over 20 years, LSU in Baton Rouge 2 years, New Ibiera Senior High 7 years, and Bangkok, Thailand almost 3 years.
I have skipped naming my schools because often I taught middle or high school science and English by day, and taught for City Colleges of Chicago, Big Bend Community College and The University of Maryland evenings and weekends.  I was a full-timer at The College of Santa Fe, LSU and Assumption University of Thailand.

I have degrees from five solleges and universities and I have credits earned at 18 other from 1959 through 2004.  I've done research and published everywhere I've been, about education, physics, chemistry, climate change, risks of coal and sodium cooled nuclear reactors.  I'v e also acted in TV commercials, Off=Off-Broadway plays, sung in US Army clubs and churchs in Germany and at beach resorts in Thailand, singing my own songs.  I've published a novel, poems, photographs, and dozens of science education, newspaper and magazine articles.
